A Letter from our Selections Chairman
My name is Rett Taylor, and I have the distinct honor of serving Aggie Men’s Club as Selections Chair for the upcoming semester. One of our mantras for candidacy, and AMC as a whole, comes from Proverbs 27:17 “...as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” We wholly believe this to be true, and center our efforts in candidacy to create this type of environment. Candidacy takes place in the fall semester, with induction into the active membership taking place just before Thanksgiving. It is a difficult process to go through, but we firmly believe that it does well to accomplish the goals of intimate fellowship, mutual respect, and building of one’s character.
While candidacy is difficult, you will not find one man within this group that will say it was not one of the most beneficial times in their college career. We pride ourselves as an organization on our deep love and respect for our brothers, and this is a direct result of the lengths we go to establish this atmosphere. If you seek an organization consisting of men of character, respect, and leadership, I encourage you to seek us out at Selections events, or email me at email@example.com. We would love to share our story with you.
Thanks, and Gig Em.
